When to call?

Generally, you should always call us when one of the following occurs:

  • Vaginal blood loss.
  • A headache, seeing stars, vomiting, upper abdominal pain or pain between the shoulder blades.
  • Less movement of the baby than usual.
  • If you are less than 37 weeks pregnant, but think that you are going into labour.
  • You lose amniotic fluid.
  • If you have questions or are worried.

Also have a look at the folder ‘when to call’

Under ‘delivery’ you can read when you should call us, once you’re going into labour.

Please keep our emergency number handy and save it in your phone: 06-49777349

Important! When the midwife calls you with the emergency number, it is anonymous. She often tries again at a later time, should you not be able to pick up immediately. If she would like you to call back to discuss something, she will leave your voicemail.
