“Dear parents-to-be,
My name is Marit Nijsen and I am a second-year midwifery student. Starting on 5 January, I will be spending 10 weeks with the midwives at Breedstraat. I would like to briefly introduce myself:
I am 27 years old and live in Utrecht. After completing my bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Health in Wageningen, I enthusiastically started my midwifery training in the summer of 2024. In addition to my studies, I work in elderly care. In my spare time, I enjoy photography and cooking. You will also regularly find me on a sailing boat.
During my internship, you may encounter me in the consultation room, during deliveries and during maternity visits. If you have any objections to my presence, please feel free to let the midwife know.
